Patenting object for export
Isn't the correct parent necessary for export? In my tests is the result empty if the objects are classified but not attached to the building structure, which makes sense, everything in IFC should have a clear spatial relationship.

- The correct "collection" (i.e. spatial relationship) is necessary for export. In Blender, the word "parent" refers to an object (i.e. object relationship), not to the collection it belongs to. We're talking about the same thing, just that I would not use the word "parent" but instead use "collection". Hope it makes sense. Moult (talk) 01:50, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
