Openly Available Standards are the backbone of [[OpenBIM]] and the core of developing interoperability between software platforms. Knowledge of standards organizations is therefore a prerequisite to developing any interoperability technology. Hopefully this page helps you find relevant organizations and standards.

ISO also publishes Open Standards in partnership with other groups. For example OASIS and buildingSMART. They publish a list of their [https://standards.iso.org/ittf/PubliclyAvailableStandards/ Publicly Available Standards] although this list does not not seem to include all publicly available standards.
